Starting ATC3 with command line
No chinese text input so have to post in english, sorry.One can start ATC3 using command line. I'll use VHHH (Kai Tak ) for example.
Let's say you designed a stage called stagexxx.a3s. Open command line (cmd.exe), go to the ATC3 VHHH directory and type:
atc3vhhhx.exe /a=vhhhx /s=stagexxx where 'a'is variable for airport, and 's' for stage name.
If you use Japanese version of the game, you need to find a command line version of applocale called SBApplocale (easily found on the web), then the command is:
SBApplocale 1041 atc3vhhhx.exe /a=vhhhx /s=stagexxx where 1041 is code for Japanese.
Why do this? Well, you don't need a A3C file to run the stage. thanks for sharing You're welcome, xdman.
I use this method to run stages generated by the Flight Plan Generator program. That program is buggy but can produce playable scenarios in an instant. Too bad the file format is slightly different so the excellent ATC3 Scenario Editor cannot read it. The A3S editors here can but rendersa file with display errors when you play it.

You don't need it to run the game. I can read chinese, feel free to reply in chinese. I post in english because I don't have chinese text input on my PC. The A3C is input on sequence and no input on scenario While it is preferable to have an A3C it is not necessary to run a scenario. In fact one can launch directly into ATC3 without using the command line from Flight Plan Generator. Now this works only with the english language patched versions of ATC3. With Japanese versions, you need SBApplocale and command line.
Don't know about chinese language patched versions. Give it a try. The flight plan generator can be downloaded at:

WHY?? I don't know why. Try to click the link I posted at post #7. I just tried and it worked fine. I have used the flight generator program to generate some scenarios for VHHH and RJOO, how do I upload these? Rayfile is slower than a slug. Megaupload? Rapidshare? Just testing.
